Finding out what's most important to you at work

A few weeks ago, we sent you guys a survey to learn about all things work. Our goal was to hear how you feel about your careers, what’s important to you in a job, and what kind of work-focused support you’d love to see.

Thanks to the 368 amazing, in-depth responses we got, we were able to pull together some key takeaways. Here’s what we’ve learned about your careers:

  • 70% of you have experienced imposter syndrome

  • 67% of you have thought about changing your work situation in the past six months, and 12% of you have left your jobs

  • When we asked you to rank what’s most important to you in a job, the winner was ‘a sense of purpose’. Next up were salary, company culture, and flexible working.

  • 27% of you are struggling to balance work and care duties

  • When we asked you about your career goals, a third of you said you want to find a career you’re more passionate about. A fifth said you want to increase your salary, and just over a seventh of you want to find better work-life balance

  • On average, you rated yourselves a 6.4 when asked how happy you are with your current work situation.
